We have moved from Blackburn to Kirkham in the last few months but still come back to Kath and Staff at Glencoe, nothing can compare to the love and attention our 2dogs and 3 cats get there. Sadly we lost our beloved Pipkin in May,she had a heart condition, and Kath was marvellous, with support and care. We are now getting ready to take our dog Sirius and latest addition Roxy there along with our 3 cats, Ellie, Peanut and Sasha, knowing they will ne well cared for and we can ring anytime to see how they are. THanks Kath and staff

More than happy with the service we get, the staff are very helpful and put your mind at rest about leaving your pets with them, our Toby cried when we brought him away last time he was with them and ruby his cousin loves going there Well done Cathy and all your staff for providing a lovely home from home  x

My name is Bobby and I've been going to Glencoe Kennels for my holibobs since I was a puppy. My brother George joined me too at a very young age, and we get very excited when Dad brings the suitcases downstairs! That means Kathy's on her way to collect us, and we can tell when the blue van is close because we're a clever pair of pooches! We don't care who's on the end of the lead as long as we get into that van and on our way!  We love everyone at Glencoe, and Mum and Dad won't leave us with anyone else because they know we're cared for with Kathy and her staff. Please send us some new friends to play with as we get lots of playtime in the paddock to run and run around. When we go to Glencoe the only one's who are crying are Mum and Dad!

Sadly we lost Bess a couple of weeks ago. For the last 9 years of her life she regarded Glencoe as her second home. She spent each Christmas here from 2006 onwards. The fact that you had to book almost 12 months ahead to be sure of a place speaks for itself. (We must remember to cancel her booking for 2011.) Some of her stays during the 9 years were for a couple of nights, others for 14+ days. As soon as we drew up into the car park she was on her feet waiting for the door to open. Out of the car, she trotted to the office with tail wagging. If that door was open she would go into the office, greet the staff, and then on, without any persuasion, without even a lead, down the corridor to her living space. With never a look back, she would leave me to deal with the paperwork! It was so obvious that she was at ease and amongst friends. When the time came for her to be collected anyone could she has had been well looked after, and showed no signs of distress I would have no hesitation in recommending Glencoe to any owner, and having used other kennels elsewhere rank as best we have known. Thanks to Kathy and her dedicated staff, for all the attention you gave to Bess. It was not like “putting our dog in kennels” but rather “leaving her for a time with caring friends.”

My daughter in-law put her dog in ur kennels while on hol what a top place. ive never used u my dog went 2 tail waggers but never again as he was ill. Im goin away in july for 2 weeks and i shall be bookin for my blue 2 go glenco what a excellent place 2 send ur pet well looked after D.XX

Our two cats, Josie and Jake have been looked after on many occasions over the last four years. Every time they have been healthy and happy when we have collected them and I would not hesitate in recommending Glencoe to anyone. We book Glencoe before we book the holiday as we would not like them to stay anywhere else! Added: July 1, 2010

Thanks Kathy and team for once again taking care of Kitty, we know she has some strange little habits but you always tell us she has been no trouble, you would have to travel far and wide to find a cattery or kennels as good as this one.

We have been sending Bobby our West Highland Terrier to Glencoe for his holidays for 7 years. He always barks Kathy and the staff to death. He has always been well looked after and enjoys playing out in the big field to the rear of the property. He is already booked in for next year. I would highly recommend Glencoe for the great personal service we have received every time. Thanks Kathy and staff.

We have used Glencoe for many years for all our cats and have always been impressed by the comfort and cleanliness of the accommodation, and the care and attention to detail of the staff. My kids love the murals on the walls though I expect Suki and Skitzy aren't so fussed!!

I have used Glencoe Kennels for years and have always found Kathy and her team to be fantastic. We now have a lovely Siberian Husky called Tai and she has been on holiday at Glencoe 3 times. She is a fussy eater, does not like change and can be a bit naughty. We picked her up this morning from an 8 night stay with her new friends and found her happy, well fed and not craving attention. Kathy and the team at Glencoe have learned about Tai's personality and accommodate her habits without a second thought. They are very caring and this allows us to enjoy our holidays knowing that Tai is in brilliant hands, safe and being loved as she would be at home. Thanks Kathy and the Team x
