Kennels

Front View

All our kennels are generously sized and have a large run area as well as a separate sleeping area

The sleeping areas are fully tiled and heated.

We also have larger kennels for three or more dogs (depending on breed and size) to be housed together only from the same family.

There is also a separate kennel for elderly dogs that prefer to potter about at their own pace; it has its own secure exercise garden with a ramp instead of steps into the garden. It also has its own gas fire for that homely comfort.

We provide all beds and bedding for your pets, however if you would prefer to bring your own bedding we are more than willing to put this in your dog’s bed.

The kennels are thoroughly cleaned daily with Trigene (virucidal disinfectant) as hygiene is of the utmost importance. All kennels are scrubbed from top to bottom between occupants, again with Trigene.

We provide all food and water dishes and these are sterilised daily to maintain our high standards of hygiene. (please do not bring your own dishes as they may get mixed up with ours)

We stock most brands of both dry and tinned feeds; however we are happy to feed any food you wish to bring in.

We have three feed times, breakfast is served to those that require it, the main meal is usually served at noon and we have an evening feed at about 5pm.

All medication is administered precisely and accurately to your pets’ requirements including injections ie: insulin dependants.

All dogs are exercised in our own private grounds at least four times a day the first one being 8.15am.

All pets must be fully vaccinated and you must provide an up to date inoculation card on your arrival.

Booster vaccinations are required every year with at least four weeks between vaccinations and arrival at the kennels.

Dogs must be covered for Bordatella (kennel cough) at least three weeks prior to coming into the kennels. Anywhere that dogs congregate (in the vets at dog shows etc) it is possible for kennel cough to be passed on, as it is an airborne virus. We ask that all dogs entering our kennels as boarders are covered; any dogs coughing will not be permitted to board.

We have a 24 hour vet call out system if required. Any pets requiring veterinary care during normal hours will be seen by their own vets unless the veterinary surgery is more than 4 miles away, in which case we will use the kennel vet.
